sites. The monitor and control Software “Presence”
features a graphic user interfaces (GUI), which provides
real-time status and color animation. The operator
interface is an intuitive, object-oriented,
point-and-click design. The software controls include
pull-down menus, acknowledge and radio buttons, type-in
text boxes, and increase/decrease buttons. The
standardized software controls increase the operator's
efficiency by creating a common interface. Presence also
includes audible and visual alarm notification,
event-based logging, security and password management,
user-defined macros and scripts, and event scheduling.
Other options include Carrier Monitoring (EIRP), Uplink
Power Control (UPC), Automatic Built-In Test (BIT), and
Redundancy Control. Via a standard TCP/IP interface, the
user can easily add local or remote operator workstations.
