Our early commencement started in this generous territory and under its caring sky we developed our operations through hard work and devotion. The company continued to grow after the declaration of the Union between the Emirates into what is know as the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E). Prosperity and the fruits of hard work, solid determinations and full devotion are now visible on the horizon.

Mr. Ibrahim Sa'eed Lootah, the founding member, was more determined that most other entrepreneurs. Although he was not the only one who put a small seed in a fertile soil, his company thrived through honest competition and continued to grow from one success to another. The initial success culminated in the establishment of the Ibrahim Lootah Group of Companies. The initial phase of this group comprised a contracting company which was active mainly in the construction and buildings sector. However with the growth of the business and construction sectors, the foundation which was laid by the rulers of the Emirates, it was necessary for the said company to take a positive and leading role.

This was one of the first local companies that entered this field and specialized in its early days in the construction and structural industries. It did not take a long time before it introduced in its business activities the construction of underpasses. As such, it became the forerunner in the modern field of construction in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The huge volume of its turnover considering its young age, in the face of competition from major foreign companies in the same field, have fuelled a competitive spirit and the drive to establish its presence in this field
